Major news for Inter Miami fans! The team has just announced the signing of Dayne St. Clair, the 2025 MLS Goalkeeper of the Year, a move that's sure to shake up the league.
St. Clair, a 28-year-old Canadian international, has inked a deal that extends through the 2026 season, with an option to extend through June 2027. This signing comes after he became a free agent, concluding a seven-season tenure with Minnesota United FC, from 2019 to 2025. During his time with the Loons, St. Clair proved his worth, racking up 42 clean sheets in 159 matches across all competitions. He was initially drafted in the 2019 MLS SuperDraft, showcasing his early potential.
On the international stage, St. Clair has represented Canada 18 times and is currently vying with Maxime Crépeau for the starting goalkeeper position at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Inter Miami hasn't been idle in the transfer market. They've also brought in defenders Sergio Reguilón and Facundo Mura this offseason. Furthermore, they've secured midfielder Rodrigo De Paul after his loan from Atlético Madrid and re-signed star striker Luis Suárez.
